International NASA Observe the moon night
The summer 2019 marks two great NASA achievements, the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing
and the 10th anniversary of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter entering lunar orbit.
These anniversaries, and NASA's new objective of returning astronauts to the Moon by 2024, mark an opportunity to celebrate past, present, and future space exploration.
I was invited to join in a collection of NASA resources curated to help celebrate the Moon as part of my works , observations and abstracts started in 2018
Explore the Moon to Mars
President Donald Trump has asked NASA to accelerate plans to return to the Moon and to land humans on the surface again by 2024
NASA will go with innovative new technologies and systems to explore more locations across the surface than was ever thought possible
This time, when they go to the Moon, they will stay
And then they will use what they learned on the Moon to take the next giant leap sending astronauts to Mars
